UGI
Price Increase

UGI is trying to increase their base rate by 11% as well as a 33% increase to the charge of being a UGI customer. Last year UGI’s profits increased by $47 million to $924 million. They do not need to raise their rates on residential customers.

The Pennsylvania Utility Commission (PUC) can deny UGI this rate hike, but will only do so if you and your neighbors tell them to.

You can have your voice heard by submitting a public comment. If enough of your neighbors submit comments, they will hold a public hearing in your town.
